ABOUT SOPHIA
Hey there! I’m Sophia , and I’m a rising senior at Bedford High School in Bedford, NH. I started The Basic Bundle Project as part of my senior project — but also because it means a lot to me personally.
Two of my siblings joined our family through foster care, and while there are already some great supports out there for teens, I wanted to add to what’s available by making sure they have access to clothing, shoes, and self-care items that feel current, stylish, and totally them.
Let’s be real: brand names aren’t everything, but when you’re a teenager trying to feel confident and fit in, they can make a huge difference. It’s not about spending tons of money — it’s about showing up at school or just hanging out with friends feeling like yourself and feeling good in what you’re wearing.
That’s where The Basic Bundle Project comes in. We put together bundles and host events where teens in NH foster care and their caregivers can pick out brand-new, on-trend clothes, shoes, makeup, and self-care essentials — things that help them feel amazing, not just dressed.
